1烟囱结构设计应符合《烟囱设计规范》(GB 50051――2002)和《钢结构设计规范》(GB 50017――2003)的要求。
1 chimney structure design shall comply with the requirements of code for design of chimneys (GB 50051-2002) and code for design of steel structures (GB 50017-2003).
2.设计烟囱时，应根据使用条件、功能要求、烟囱高度、材料供应及施工条件等因素，确定采用砖烟囱、钢筋混凝土烟囱或钢烟囱。
2. When designing chimney, brick chimney, reinforced concrete chimney or steel chimney shall be determined according to service conditions, functional requirements, chimney height, material supply, construction conditions and other factors.
3.下列情况不宜采用砖烟囱：①重要的或高度大于60 m的烟囱;②地震设防裂度为9度地区的烟囱;③地震设防裂度为8度时，Ill、IV类场地的烟囱。

4.烟囱基础一般宜采用板式基础。板式基础可以是环形或圆形的。在条件允许时，可采用壳式基础。

5.烟囱筒壁和基础的受热温度应符合下列规定：

①烧结普通鄙土砖筒壁的受热温度不应超过400℃;
① The maximum heating temperature of sintered common clay brick cylinder wall shall not exceed 400 ℃;
②钢筋混凝土筒壁和基础以及素混凝土基础，受热温度不应超过150℃;
② The heating temperature of reinforced concrete cylinder wall and foundation and plain concrete foundation shall not exceed 150 ℃;
③钢烟囱筒壁的受热温度应符合相关规定。
③ The maximum heating temperature of steel chimney wall shall comply with relevant regulations.
6.烟囱的荷载与作用可分为下列三类：

①性荷载与作用：结构自重、土重。土压力、拉线的拉力;
① Permanent load and action: structure weight and soil weight. Earth pressure and pulling force of stay wire;
②可变荷载与作用
② Variable loads and actions
③偶然荷载：罕遇地震作用、拉线断线、撞击、爆炸等。
③ Accidental load: rare earthquake, pull wire breakage, impact, explosion, etc.
7.烟囱的高度应同时满足污染物排放标准及环境评价的要求。
